On Thursday, December 13, 2018, the Chairman and members of the Contracting Committee in Asharqia Chamber attend a meeting with Al-Jubeir, His Excellency the Secretary of the Eastern Region, at the headquarter of the Secretariat in the Region.
The meeting of the Committee was directed by a member of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber and the Chairman of the Contracting Committee, Hamad bin Hamoud Al Hammad.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Secretary of the Eastern Region, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir, said that the Secretariat supports all means of enhancing cooperation with the business sector in all its specialties.
He pointed out that the Contracting Sector is the supporting arm of the Secretariat in the region.
Al-Jubeir said that the Secretariat is keen to meet with officials and specialists in the business sector to discuss aspects of cooperation in serving the region in all aspects.
He pointed out that the visit of the Contracting Committee comes within the framework of reviewing the challenges facing the sector and ways to overcome them, while contributing to the development of the mechanism of work and facilitate its functions.
For his part, the Chairman of the Committee, Al-Hammad, said that the meeting with His Excellency the Secretary has seen a great positive in dealing with the themes of the meeting.
He stressed that the meetings held by the Committee are always positive in its belief in the role played by the sector in cooperation with the relevant authorities in order to develop the region.
Al-Hammad said that the meeting presented the most important achievements of the Committee and its role in educating the practitioners of the contracting activity, in addition to several discussions of highlighted topics that would support the construction sector in the region.
